I am now a Holistic Nutritionist working solely with people with IC. My journey has shown me the struggles that nobody else really understands unless they have been through it themselves. The past 10 years since my symptoms started have been, in equal parts, horrific and transformational.
Meet Joana
Hi! My name is Joana Bartlett, I’m 30, half Spanish half English, and living in West Sussex (South England) after years living around Spain, France and Australia. Fun fact - I have been through the medical system for my urinary symptoms in all 3 countries!
I suffered from recurring UTIs which eventually turned into Interstitial Cystitis. I used to be an English teacher, but when I started suffering with my chronic urinary pain, recurring yeast infections, burnout and after the death of my mum, I quit teaching and retrained as a Holistic Nutritionist in the hopes of understanding my own body and being able to help others in the same position as me.
I now help women, like you, suffering with unexplained urinary pain to relieve their symptoms and live normally again. I now live 100% symptom free and have done for a few years.
Between myself and my team, we work on your physical and emotional health to identify what’s driving your urinary pain and resolve it so you can live fully again. No more waking up wondering how you’ll feel, no more being confused about if food is causing your pain, no more waiting weeks to speak to a doctor who may not even understand IC or be able to help.
